HeartWood Tree Care is highly recommended. The Owner is a local James Island Native who cares about where he lives. Very knowledgeable about local trees. Heartwood Tree Care is very reliable, honest, and fast tree removal service. Great Job!

Erick and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional. They took all my trees down, trimmed the oak, and cleaned up all before lunch time. Fairly priced and fast service, they even make sure the birds and squirrels are out of the tree before cutting! 10/10 would use Heatwood again if I had any trees left!

Y'all! Anyone needing tree work done, holler at Erick at Heartwood Tree Care! Beyond impressed with what those fellas can do with some saws and rope! Wish I could give 'em a dozen stars instead of just 5. Our back yard is TIGHT, fenced and had four 70' oaks overhanging both our garage and our neighbor's. Not a scratch on even a fence post! These dudes are the real deal and by far, the most reasonable price around. True professionals and can seriously do it all. Most of the trees in our hood are fighting each other for light and you can tell by the way they lean and grow toward one side.
If it's even crossed your mind about a tree trim or removal, just give Heartwood a call (that part is free). Promise y'all-you'll be glad ya did.

With the recent Hurricane Ian, we had almost no tree damage. Heartwood had trimmed and prepared out 100+ year old oaks and other trees about 6 months ago. They carefully trimmed the foliage which prevented loosing the trees. Definitely bring them in to do maintenance tree work to prevent catastrophic loss. To add, the old oaks looked great all summer after the maintenance

Erick and his crew removed some pine trees that were in some really tough locations. The clean up after was perfect. They did a great job! Highly recommend.

We could not be happier with what Erick and his crew did! Not only did they remove the trees and bushes we requested, but they trimmed the trees along the back where our property meets the woods and removed the fencing along 2 sides that we desperately needed gone. They even helped me look for birds nests because I was terrified about babies being in some of the trees. I would (and already have!) recommend them to anyone.

I contacted numerous companies in my area and everyone was very slow to respond if they even responded at all. The first call to Heartwood Treecare, Erick the owner answered the phone and was very knowledgeable and professional. He came out the same day and provided me with an estimate that was very reasonable. Erick and his crew came out the next day, on time and removed a huge diseased water oak hanging over my house. Erick and the crew were very professional and tidy cleaning up the yard and didn't leave any left over debris in the yard. I highly recommend this company and Erick exceeded my expectations. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

Had a giant sweet gum tree that was overhanging the house called up Heartwood for a quote and 36 hours later the tree and stump were gone with no evidence there was even a tree. So glad i'm not stepping on the sweet gum balls everyday. Would recommend for sure thanks Erick and crew
